INTRODUCTION OF PERENNIAL ORNAMENTAL PLANTS ON THE NORTH

By the method of generic complexes F. N. Rusanova in the Botanical Garden of the Institute of Biology of the Komi Science Center of the UrB RAS, collections of 11 generic complexes are collected: 5 genera of bulbous (Allium L., Hyacinthus L., Lilium L., Narcissus L., Tulipa L.) and 6 genera of rhizomes (Astilbe Buch.-Ham. ex D. Don, Iris L., Hemerocallis L., Paeonia L., Phlox L. and Primula L.) flowering perennials.

Introduction bulbous plants in the Botanical Garden of the Institute of Biology Komi SC of the URD RAS

To bulbous plants include representatives of the genus complexes as   Allium (except  rhizomatous  species),  Lilium,  Narcissus,  Tulipa,  Hyacinthus, etc. The greatest diversity of species in the collection fund of the Botanical Garden of the Institute of Biology Komi Science Center presents the genus Allium – 150 taxons. Hundreds of varieties represented generic complexes Lilium, Narcissus and Tulipa.
